Whole green banana fibre acts as a pre-biotic to favor the nourishment of beneficial microflora in the gut (particularly the hind gut) helping to retain a healthy microbiome thus creating gut harmony!
As the gut is vitally important to immune function, a balanced microbiome and gut harmony is essential for immune competence, allowing horses to maintain their defence against bacterial, fungal, viral, or parasitic challenges. Gut stability also maintains normal digestion, feed utilisation which can also aid temperament. In addition, whole green bananas have shown to help maintain normal gastric mucosa.
ANTIOXIDANT BENEFITS FROM B-COMPLETE
The generation of energy at the cellular level (from sugars and fats) and the normal functioning of the immune system, can create a degree of oxidative stress due to an excess formation of reactive oxygen species that are insufficientlyt balanced by the horses' antioxidant defences. When the level of free radicals outweighs the antioxidant defences, they can damage tissue. Whole green bananas are naturally rich source of a wide spectrum of anti-oxidants, including phenolics, carotenoids, ascorbic acid (Vit C), tocopherols (Vit E), flavonoids which are primarily located in the peel.

Recommended daily intake for a 14.2hh-15hh horse (of an average weight of 500kg) is 100grams per day. This may be varied depending on the animals individual circumstances, including an increase of 50% during times of heavy training. B-Complete is safe, so exact measurements are less important than if you were feeding synthetic products, another benefit of using B-Complete.
The scoop provided in each container, when slightly heaped, is approx. 100grams.
